Award winning Southbourne Beach is one of Bournemouth's most popular beaches, loved by locals and visitors for its clean, sandy and shingle beaches located east of Boscombe Pier and the town centre. The beach can be accessed directly within a couple of minutes' walk from the property, from Southbourne High Street via Fisherman's Walk. The beach is south-facing and sandy, with imposing clay and ironstone cliffs. Mudeford Spit is close by, famous for its colourful beach huts.

A most popular spot is Hengistbury Head, which attracts visitors for its cliff walk with superb far-reaching views out to sea from the Isle of Wight to Old Harry Rocks.

Guest access: guests will have access to the entire property. The owner lives close by and is always available to greet guests and make sure they are familiar with everything. During the stay he is on hand if needed, but generally people just want to get on with things themselves and are left in peace.
